Good Day Fellow Woodbutchers
Welcome to my site, Grab yourself a coffee and have a seat while I spin you a yarn.

Wood Butcher was a term of endearment that Shipwrights in the Navy used to wear on good days , you don’t want to know about the bad days , now you can see my greeting was not meant to be derogatory we can carry on. I was a Stoker myself and there seemed to be a close affinity between shipwrights and stokers , I believe it was because both types had natural abilities to be able to “jury rig” in order to keep things fixed and working.
My apologies for the appearance of my workbench , I do not have a pretty array of caterpiller yellow tools to show you , I realize the view may be a little disconcerting to all the Mr. Neats out there , but after a few hairbrained projects have cluttered your workbench and your mind , I would challenge the neatness of your workbench without prejudice.
My workshop in the basement is known as the hell hole to other members of my family , this is OK I can work with that.
On the site I will give you a basic plan , on how to get started for those of you who have no idea , also I will steer you to a couple of great free tools you can use to make your woodworking a little easier.
I will be showing a few of the woodwork projects I have managed to complete.
You will have to understand , that some of these projects I have made two of “ My first and my last “.
So hang in there and enjoy the trip.
This is my first attempt at a web site , so if you have any questions or comments , good or bad feel free to email me , I will try to answer all.
Thanking you for your time,
Thanks for coming and enjoy. You are my Guest# 7904
